On Saturday night J and I had a hot date at a restaurant that had stunning beams all above you. Since then I have been day dreaming about beams. Man, oh man, I wish I had beams in my home. Doesn’t really make sense though when J can touch most of our ceilings while on his tippy-toes. Dang you 1952 ranch home!

We have beams, and I am SO stoked. For lighting, we’re planning on doing cable lighting, running the length of the room. (kind of industrial style)
I love that cubby organizer. I feel like it would be a fairly easy DIY… might be time to get out the tools 🙂
