Our kitchen cabinets are fully in, and let me tell you- they are freaking gorgeous. In our last kitchen we used Home Depot stock cabinets. They looked good, worked great, but there was nothing that special about them. This time around we used an actual cabinet company, Cornerstone Cabinets. The babies are stunning. There is such a huge difference between these and the stock cabinets from before. It was also so fun being able to choose every single detail. I was oblivious as to how many options you have for cabinets. I was talking to my friend about my cabinets and they said how they had hired N-Hance Wood Refinishing of Richmond to help give new life to their tired looking cabinets and they recommended I did the same. It’s a good idea but the fact that mine are from Home Depot and not custom made means that they’ll break or become faulty soon so I wanted to just replace them while we were doing up the kitchen. Maybe I’ll looking into refinishing them in 5 years time! Here they are before we got the countertops in:
Oh and remember how this looked, upper cabinets and a middle wall:
Well heres the view now. Gone are the uppers and the middle wall:
I am loving all the change that has taken place! Its really crazy how just a few months ago the house looked like this, and now its so different! This weekend I got the pantry painted, most of the floors cleaned, and J got all the trim work finished in Brays room. So productive! And we OFFICIALLY move in this weekend. Woah! Life is about to get real messy;) But as long as I have my sweet baby boy, and this perfect man by my side- I couldn’t care less.

Wow! Your new space looks fabulous. I’ve been in search of used cabinets and I was wondering if you still had the old cabinets that were in the kitchen?
Great cabinet profile. Looks like things are coming together really nicely. Happy moving!!
