Back when Bray turned one he got the best first birthday gift I had ever heard of, a child’s growth chart. My girlfriend Kylie gave it to him as his gift, and though it isn’t something fun for him- it is FUN for me;)
This project couldn’t get easier, which is awesome especially for the outcome looking as cute as it does. She found the red trimmed burlap online, and simply measured out each foot with a Sharpie. Here is some burlap similar to the one she bought.
I love that I could put this up anywhere, and it goes perfectly in Brays room to cover up a big ugly seam! Now if only I was good about marking his growth on it often… But hey, I at least put his measurements in to the Baby Connect app {that app has been so great ever since day 1 of Bray- cannot say enough good things about it}. I know I will just go back in and add where he was at during certain ages eventually:)
Do you guys use growth charts with your family, or do you just keep track of it for your own personal records? I think there is something so great about adding a new notch in the wall/chart when you grow as a kid!
Happy weekend guys. Hope to see some of you at the Junk In The Trunk Vintage Market on Saturday!

This is so cool! We were given a growth chart from my aunt when Henry was born. So cute!
