Memorial Day Food And Crafts

memorial-day-food-and-crafts

Memorial Day is such a beautiful holiday to be able to honor those who have died while serving their country. People that I am beyond thankful for. People that I have so much respect for, and for their families. I honestly don’t know what I would ever do if Jeremy wanted to serve in the Military, I would be so scared! So thank you to all those that have served, and to the families that supported them. Being in the military can come with a lot of challenges, that is why when something important comes up, all personnel should be able to have access to a military lawyer to support them through whatever is happening, giving them that aid where needed.

Memorial Day is also a great day {other than for the significant meaning} for people who have the normal M-F 8-5 job. Jeremy has it off, and for that, I am so excited! I love any excuse to craft, bake, grill, eat, hang with family and friends..whatever! This year, I’m going to buy a hand casting kit since I’ve seen lots of people doing them and they look beautiful. I love the idea that I can put it in the living room once it’s done! I’ve got a few other crafting activities planned but I’ll keep them secret for now.

Here are some fun crafts and food that pair perfectly with this great Holiday:

And there you have it! 10 fun crafts and food that you could totally pull off for Memorial Day this year. In this house lately, crafts have to either be something that Braylen can actually help with, or be quick and easy enough to do in half a nap time {I say half because I love to either nap or do Hypnobabies the other half:) } These are all perfect for that lifestyle we have going on right now.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for a recap of my crazy weekend at SNAP. It included a mass amount of sugar, lack of sleep, selfies, and being overwhelmed.

I just found your blog {the marketing nerd in me has to tell you that I found it completely organically via google} and I absolutely love it! I love these ideas! Now I’m inspired to do some crafty projects instead of chores today! Nice meeting you!

Would love to use the Memorial Day Centerpiece but am a little concerned about the blue water turning the flowers. Could you please share how this has worked for you?
