Man do I love being able to finally show y’all this home we have been working on for the past three months with Ryan and Kylie of Modern Manor. The new owners are all moved in {and hopefully loving it!} so its fun to be able to show you it finally.
I shared the kitchen, dining room, and living room last week, and today I will be showing the bedrooms and bathrooms. The house is a 3bed/2bath home, and the perfect amount of space. We might install some new air conditioning using a site like diamondblueair.com, but we just need to wait to see how hot it gets first. It’s typical that we only just thought of it and now it’s getting hotter we really need it!
Anyway, here is how the two regular bedrooms looked like before we got to them. Super nasty flooring, messed up walls from old hanging wall units, and the worlds worst sliding door to the back yard.
Heres how they came out after we brought the floors down to the cement, sand blasted the brick wall, and a whole lot of cosmetic touch ups:)
While the one bedrooms door was godawful, and the new one is pretty and functioning, I think what takes the cake for me here is the sandblasting of the brick. I love being able to expose old things that still have a bunch of beauty left in them. It makes such a statement for the room!
Here is the hall bath before we got to it:
I don’t know if I had ever seen someone have a glass door and a shower curtain- but it was done here. This bathroom took on such a beautiful transformation. It’s fully functional and plumbed in thanks to experts like these plumbers in Melbourne. The wood counter in here is my all-time fav and makes me want it in our own home. {we found our inspiration for this bathroom from 4Men1Lady}
I love how the bathroom has a modern feel because of the sink and the faucet, but the wood brings in so much warmth!
And finally, the Master bedroom. This room itself wasn’t terrible to start with, but the bathroom was insanely small.
Once we took up the tile, did some serious clean up and painting, the room was able to shine again- especially with that awesome window. I love the little Haver details all over this home.
And here is the worlds smallest bathroom, now made a little larger:)
We were able to expand the bathroom by taking away a hall closet. This home still has plenty of storage, so in our minds it was well worth it to lose some storage in order to make the bathroom a double sink and bigger.
I love the fresh feel to this bathroom, and the penny tile that takes over the entire floor and shower walls are amazing. We love this tile so much and we’re hoping it’ll last a lifetime but if it doesn’t, we can use the services from TubCoaters and have them refinished and looking brand new once again.
This home has so much character just in the bones itself, so it was really fun to bring it back to life. This was our first time really trying to keep things a little more modern than our normal taste. At first that was hard, because {at least for me} it is much easier to design a home to suit your taste. But the challenge of incorporating things that aren’t my normal go-to’s was fun!
Hope you loved the bedrooms and bathrooms. Last, but not least, i’ll show y’all the exterior. It was such a drastic transformation, it was insane!
So tell me, do you have a favorite thing about the makeovers you saw today? Would love to hear your opinions!!

Very well done! I love how bright and fresh you made everything look overall, and that sink in the second bathroom is really unique and modern. What’s the material? Quartz?
Adri says
Thanks Amanda! The kitchen counter and the master bath counter are both Quartz!

Hi Michelle! Love it! When we first get new flips we search all over the web and Pinterest for inspiration, and I am pretty sure your bathroom vanity was our inspiration here! We normally don’t list all of our sources of inspo because we pull from so many places, but if you would like- I could here:) You guys are so talented!
