Packing Up The Kitchen

On New Years day we packed up the whole kitchen..sounds fun right?! It actually was, just because the whole time I was envisioning how much it was all about to change.

Here are some before shots of the areas that are getting a makeover as we speak {aka type}!

All of these rooms are in for a drastic makeover/knock down completely. Obviously I am most excited about the kitchen in general, but also we are doing a whole new laundry room. The one above is gross. We never did anything to it, other than build that wooden box.

This was one of Js first wood work projects. He built this to cover up the dryer vent {I think}. Its pretty terrible, but at the time we were both super proud of it.
It is pretty apparent that we did next to nothing in here, I mean, just look at the light switch:
This is what all of our kitchen looks like {minus some appliances that we kept out for use on the dining room table during reno} when put into the guest room. Anyone want to come and stay for a couple of days?!
Hope everyones having a great week so far. I am obviously! I mean today I was lucky enough to make sure to go pee at Home Depot while there. When the waters shut off at home-you get creative;)

How exciting! Heck your Kitchen as it is now doesn’t even look that bad so I can only imagine how the final result will turn out! 🙂

That’s exciting! I can’t wait to see it all done! We lived without a kitchen for an entire year. We redid our entire house and ran out of money. We had a folding table with a microwave and toaster oven. Fun times!

AH!!! I can’t wait to see it all done! Your guest bedroom looks like my nightmare though, kitchen stuff is such odd shapes and hard to store elsewhere. Best of luck, can’t wait to see the progress.
