Saving Money On Shopping

We get asked a lot how we do our budget, how we save, and how we afford to do projects. One little secret I will let y’all in on is my clothes shopping saver..LAST CHANCE.

I apologize if you don’t live in AZ, because we are the only lucky ones that get this store, seriously. Last Chance is the store that all returns from Nordstroms go to. It sells clothes {women and some men}, kids clothes, shoes, handbags, jewelry, some household items, etc. It is truly the only way I afford shopping, since I have a dirty little habit of designer jeans. I am a particular fan of Louis Vuitton, which can create a hole in your bank account. With our increased budgeting, I’ve been turning to items that look just as good as the real thing. Paired with the steals you can find at Last Chance, budgeting has never been easier. It also makes it impossible for you to feel ok about shopping anywhere else. When you start to get used to prices of $5.97 on Splendid tees, $30 on Citizen of Humanity jeans, and so on, you can’t bring yourself to pay full price for anything, esp. things of lesser quality. If you’re the same and you like getting some great deals for minimal prices and don’t mind wearing replicas, you could look into a selection of the Best replica handbags the internet can offer you.

Here is an example of what I completely scored there this week. Keep in mind, this is not how much I normally spend, BUT how can I feel guilty when I realize the deals i’m getting!!

As you can see I got 5 shirts, 2 sweaters, 3 jeans, shoes, and a necklace. The jeans are Citizens skinny, Joes high waist, and Sevens super flare {so excited to have a nice pair of bell bottoms-don’t care if they’re not totally in style}. The shirts are Stem, Splendid, and James Perse. The beautiful shoes are Steven by Steven Madden, and the necklace is just plain ol’ rad. Now for the best part:

Total at Last Chance $159.81. Total of what it would have all been at Nordstrom: just under $1,000. No joke. I even googled each item and totaled it up, it was right around $990. Now don’t get me wrong, but I could never-ever afford, or even feel ok, about spending that much on these beloved pieces. But when I save myself around $830- I jump for joy!!!

Again, sorry if you don’t live in AZ. Next time you visit, be sure to make a stop there. But at least there are sites online that you could use if you are interested in getting cheaper clothers! Sure having designer clothes is awesome, but spending that much money is just too much for some people, that’s why you’ll be pleased to know that you can get things like this Chanel Bags Replica (or whichever designer you prefer), if you wanted. So this is perfect if you don’t live in the AZ. And if you live in AZ then you can still go to this store – if you haven’t been yet, GO! Warning though, it is always complete madness there. Nothings organized, people are pushy, the ‘regulars’ are rude {YES there are serious regulars that go every freaking day, they buy to sell on eBay, they’re serious!} but it is all so worth it for the quality of stuff you get at the price you pay!
Sorry I know this post is quite off our normal DIY house stuff, but I figured I would share a little look into how we save money. Anyway, what girl doesn’t love a good deal on fashionable clothes?! Happy weekend everyone! Have fun relaxing while were painting up a storm:)
<3,
Adri

We used to have one of those about 10 minutes from my house. I have some of my most amazing shoes from that store. $280 shoes for $18. It was crazy. They closed it down last year and my sisters and I talk about it all the time. We used to go to the Cuban bakery and Last Chance every Saturday morning. So sad.

Last Chance really does have some amazing deals… I just can’t deal with it lol. The people, the uncleanliness, things are EVERYWHERE lol. But then again, I also don’t like shopping. I don’t mind going to the Rack on occasion… I’ll just sit here and be jealous that you don’t mind the headache of going to Last Chance and getting all the good deals ๐Ÿ˜› lol.
