Christmas In Our Home

I cannot believe that Christmas is this weekend! So excited! And we find out the sex of our baby on Saturday! Could this weekend get any better?! This year I put up most of our decorations, but not all. For some reason it just seemed not necessary. Maybe its because I realize that once we have kid{s} the house will always be decorated. So without further ado, here is what Christmas looks like in our home:
The Christmas antlers:

Our quaint tree. Totally a mix of newer ornaments, and ones from our childhood:

Fun finds from estate sales. I got the beautiful runners and they are so perfect, hand stitched!

This tree makes me smile because its so similar to the one I grew up with:

Our Christmas mantle. I have to be careful not to put anything on it thats too tall, because we dont have the luxury of the mantle not having a TV above it:

Adding a string of red wooden balls to our Driftwood Art adds just enough of a holiday touch:

I know its not a crazy amount of Christmas in our home, but for us- its just enough. At least until this baby is here next year, and then i’m sure it will be a little over the top!

    Beautiful. Just perfect.

I have the same green ceramic Christmas tree (that I grew up with) but now I’ve added two more one white, one red. I’ve decided I’m collecting them now but won’t pay more that $5 for a new one. 🙂

Wow everything looks amazing! Seeing that ceramic light up tree makes me smile too because my parents have one very similar to that. I think they still have it and someday I hope to get it if my sisters don’t want it. They have such fun slightly “vintage” charm. I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks they are cool.
