We are 4 months out from welcoming our 3rd baby..4 months people! And the fact that I am going to be a mom to three still just seems so crazy. Bizarre even- because I feel like three is going to be a game changer. Jeremy and I will be officially outnumbered, but in the best way possible! There have been a lot of things that I have learned so far in my parenting journey. Some things I learned the easy way, and some things- the hard. One thing I know for sure is that I needed to get my act together in terms of diaper bags for this 3rd baby.
With Braylen I had a real diaper bag. It was really nice, cute, and stylish- but it didn’t hold up well at all. So much so, that when Winston came along I didn’t even use it. Instead I just used a big purse. I thought it was totally fine, except looking back- it was a terrible idea! I could never find stuff jammed all the way at the bottom. The purse would always get super nasty {hello, kid stuff tends to do that!} but I had no way of washing it. I never once had a true diaper bag with having two kids, so I knew that I wanted something amazing for this 3rd baby.
I started my search online for a diaper bag that met this criteria:
-stylish
-functional with lots of pockets and compartments
-at least the interior needed to be washable
-able to be worn multiple ways
-didn’t ‘scream’ diaper bag
-made really well so it would last
I found Lily Jades site and seriously fell in love! Each of their bags were so beautiful, and the organization of them was beyond amazing. I knew within two minutes of looking that it was what I was looking for. I fell in love especially with the Shaylee bag in Brandy. It had everything I wanted, and things I didn’t even know I wanted!
The inside has this organization compartment that is amazing. It keeps everything right in place, has a changing pad, and is totally removable {and washable}. And the unique part is that whenever you are done needing a full blown diaper bag, you can easily take out the organizer and use the bag as a beautiful purse!
One of my big requirements was that I could wear the bag multiple ways, and Shaylee does them all! I can wear this on my shoulder, across the body, and even as a backpack! I think the backpack aspect is going to come in handy the most while trying to wrangle three kids.

I love the Shaylee too! The one I had with my first was huge. Technically a diaper bag with similar issues to a big purse. But this ones seems just right. Not too big, not too small. And love you can wear it different ways. Take pressure off that one shoulder.
