Maternity clothes: Still just the work pants, although I did just buy a bunch of cheap maternity clothes from Old Navy! Jeans require the hair-tie trick. I love that trick:)
Stretch marks: Just the ones from Christmas Eve on my chest, but still using the amazing tummy stretch mark oil {here} and the chest cream {here}
Sleep: Still getting up every night to go pee, BUT now I also am getting leg cramps almost every night this week. So weird too because I feel like I drink more than enough water.
Oh, and I got a body pillow last night, so we shall see how much it helps! Actually, I was suggested to buy an anime body pillow. To be honest, I browsed through the Internet to find a few, and I was amazed at the options available.
Best moment of this week: Seeing a good friend who was in town for a few nights, getting our crib {!!!} and getting a Vitamix. I just bought the thing a few days ago and cannot stop using it!
Miss anything: wine and beer…and being able to run miles at my normal pace. Im thankful i’m still able to run easy, but the slowed down pace is lame. Honestly though, just so thankful to be pregnant with a healthy baby, so i’ll take the pregnancy over the ‘missing things’ any day.
Movement: Loving how much more often they are happening! I don’t think i’ll ever get sick of them, that is until they possibly get painful;)
Food cravings: The natural golden grahams cereal craving has taken over..still:) Something interesting that changed with food this week though was the fact that I think i’m starting to get acid reflux. Never had it in my life before until now.
Anything making you queasy or sick: nope!
Have you started to show yet: For sure, I love it! I just read that my uterus alone is the size of a soccer ball right now too, how crazy is that?!
Gender: Boy!!
Labor signs: none, it will be crazy when I say yes to this.
Belly button in or out: That bad boy is starting to creep out..
Wedding rings on or off: On, on the days that I actually wear them
Happy or moody most of the time: This week I had a moment where I just realized what an insane blessing this pregnancy is, and it made me even more grateful than I already was…so definitely happy:)
Looking forward to: Getting together with a big group of friends this weekend for the start of a monthly young marrieds group.
G’morning. I was just reading your post and you mentioned a vitamix. I first read about one in a post for a recipe for Dr.Oz’ green shake. I tried to make it in a regular blender and well…..not so good…..now I need a new one. Anyhow I was wondering if you could tell me a little about it. Also, you look terrific! Thanks for bringing us along on your journey. have a great day!! Debora Cadene.

Eating a banana before bed may help with the leg cramps. It helped me with my first child. Hope it helps. Love your site and your excitement about your pregnancy. ๐
You are too cute! As a mom of three I am so glad to be past this stage of life, but I also remember the excitement of it all. Such a fun time of anticipation.
I was going to suggest the banana too…leg cramps happen from low potassium. That might help.
as far as i know (and i am a biologist), muscle cramps are due to lack of magnesium (i could explain you the molecular mechanism, but it is boring). anyway, so magnesium supplements or simply banana might help! hope it gets better.
Yeah same for me I was going to suggest the banana or more potassium, it works wonders. Also, a really good probiotic will help alot with your acid reflux. its better than getting a prescription! I am new to your blog, love it so far!
Thanks ladies! Debora- I am seriously loving the Vitamix. It blends up anything into a smooth consistency. Before I was using my magic bullet and when I would put kale in, it was always super chunky- so not really appealing. From what I found, the best deal to get one is from Costco. Not sure if you have a membership or atleast know someone who does. They do roadshows where they will be at certain Costcos for a couple weeks at a time. During that time they sell a machine for $395, when it would normally be $500~. The machine makes amazing smoothies, juices, icecream, soups, you name it! Seriously look in to it! As far as the leg cramps go THANK you for all of the tips. Its interesting taht I could be lacking magnesium considering I take a mag/calcium supplement daily and eat pretty darn healthy. But I am so willing to try anything!! You guys are just the best- thanks for taking the time to offer suggestions!! <3, Adri
