Ergo Performance- I literally cannot say enough great things about this carrier. Bray is small enough now to where I don’t use the hood, but this thing is like a sleeping pill to him. Within two minutes of him being in it, he is out cold. And, he will stay out cold until I take him out. I know I am going to love it even more {if thats possible} once its not 100+ degrees here too! Ooh the idea of snuggling up with my baby when its nice and chilly out..sounds like heaven.
Nuk Pacis– These pacis are commonly recommended by lactation consultants for the fact that the nipple on these resembles us the most. No matter what others say, all I know is that he loves these pacis way better than any other type we own. Also, he is slightly tongue-tied and these ones stay in his mouth the best.
Planet Wise Wet Bag- We are cloth diapering our little sweetie and this bag is fabulous. We installed a little hook on the wall beside our dresser {changing table}and this bag holds all of our dirty diapers and cloth wipes. No smells escape, and I mean it. When it comes time to wash the diapers and wipes, I simply turn this bag inside out in the washer, never having to tough anything. The bag gets washed along with everything else, and you start fresh each time:) Even if you are not CDing, this would be great to have for pool/beach days, to hold the wet suits, towels, etc, while out and about. I have a smaller version of this bag for my diaper bag, so when we are on the go I have a place to contain his dirty diapers.
Munchkin Wipe Warmer- This is what I use to hold our cloth wipes. I simply put our wipes in, and pour a glass of water that has a feel drops of baby castile soap in it. This warmer keeps the cloth nice and warm, but never too hot. About once a week I wipe it down with alcohol to keep it super sanitary.
Pura Stainless Steel Bottles- I am so obsessed with these bottle. We also own Life Factory glass bottles, which rock as well, but I love these the most. There are so many perfect things about them: they have a LIFETIME warranty. Meaning, you scratch, dent, brake, whatevveerr it, and it gets replaced. They are incredible durable, and stylish:) They also are great because you can use something like 15 different nipples on them. Which leads me in to my next thing I love this month…
Mam Silicone Nipples- I love using these on our Pura bottles. This specific nipple I feel like really replicates what baby’s do to your own…ouch, but true! Also, I feel like he takes in the least amount of air while using these. I just wish I could use these on the Lifefactory bottles as well.
Grovia Cloth Wipes- Not gonna lie, you can totally use a cheaper item for your cloth wipes and be fine. I however love these, especially for big poopy messes. When it is just pee, I usually use these wipes, but for poop- these Grovia ones all the way. Its incredible how I can clean up even the most explosive nastiness with just ONE of these. When I was using disposable wipes, I swear I would use up to three every time.
During the day my boy is a dream, naps beautifully, and is a babywise baby to a tee, seriously, this boy loves his schedule during the day. I’m just not ready to sleep through the night yet… one day:) Hope y’all have a fabulous weekend…and thanks for loving me through this sleepless, tired, only-baby-minded, time in my life- you guys are the best!

Please do a post on cloth diapering! I am considering doing it for my baby (to be born in December). If you’ve already done one, forgive me!

We have the Wrgo, too, but so far Henry prefers the Moby. Did you use the infant insert?
I love those stainless steel bottles and thanks for the recommendation for the nipples. Henry has refused almost every nipple except the ones from the hospital. May have to try this.

Rachel-no post yet. I have been holding off on doing one because I feel like I am still no expert-but maybe I’ll do one soon of our experiences si far.
Kim-we LOVVEEEE the ergo. I didn’t start really using it with him until he was already big enough without the insert. I have it though, just with it being summer-seems way too hot to use it. Good luck on the bottles and nipples.
Anon-glad I can help in any way. Congrats on the babe coming up!!
Louise-I know-right?? Thanks, we think he’s pretty cute:)

Hi Adrianne! It’s Jen. Amanda gave me your blog address. Love your site and all the fun baby stuff! Great to see all the new stuff that works good because after 3 years I feel like I easily forget. I really want one of the Ergos. That will be a life saver with two other ones.

I feel for you! I remember running face first into a wall because I was so exhausted! We used Babywise for our twins. It worked right away for our daughter but took more time for our son. Every baby is different but by the time I returned to work they were about 10 weeks and sleeping 7-8 hrs. It may take time but it WILL happen:)
