So we have been keeping something kind of on the hush-hush from y’all lately…and its gonna be BIG!!
This morning we are leaving for Europe for three weeks.
Just kidding, that’s not the big surprise:) We are remodeling the boys bathroom AND our Master bathroom!!!!!! We are in the process of selecting new windows for the bathrooms. However, we need to speak to White Plains Window about what we want in a little more detail. And the best part about it- it is going to all take place while we are away for three weeks! My mom will be at the house the whole time, and Jeremy will be coming and going for work during the week- but the boys and I will be gone the whole time. No living through the remodel- HECK- no doing the remodel ourselves! It’s so great when it can be done by someone else and frees us up to do what we want to do, we just have to leave it to the professionals like Proud USA Construction or whoever is closest to us, and we get to come back to what we had envisioned. Perfect.
Now normally I am ALL for DIY, but being 7 months pregnant, having two little boys already, and not enjoying the fact that we could be living all out of my mom’s bathroom- well none of it sounded appealing. So we are using our amazing team of guys who do our work on our flips, and everything starts this morning! Besides the remodeling works, my mom’s been advising us about replacing the old heating equipment. So, we might also have to look for a heat pump manufacturer to get that done!
The boys bathroom is going to look about 100% better, but not much structurally is changing in there. As for our Master bathroom, well that thing is going to be SOOO different and I can’t freaking wait! No more peach tub, tiny shower, hideous everything else. It will be SO beautiful! And so dang different. I remember one of my friends sharing about her renovation dreams and how it all turned out with the help of professionals similar to those found at Flow Pros Plumbing. I cannot wait to come home to see it all finished. I will of course be getting a million photo updates from Jeremy as he comes and goes, but MAN to come home to a completely brand new bathroom will be heaven! HEAVEN!
