- Is there something you want to know about natural food/products/lifestyle Lindsay Leigh Bentley is your girl. I have never found a blog that I feel like I can trust more with the facts. I follow a lot of the ways she prepares food, takes supplements, etc. I also am totally obsessed with her recipe for homemade toothpaste. Obviously, before you use any homemade products, especially if you have had problems with your teeth in the past, then you should check with your dentist in Glen Rock (or whatever area you are in) to make sure that it is appropriate for your teeth. As for us, even Braylen loves Lindsay’s homemade toothpaste. As in, hated getting his teeth brushed {even with Toms strawberry toothpaste} and now does it willingly! Go check her out for sure. I’ll be blogging more oral tips in the future, tackling topics like dental veneers so let me know if you have any questions in the comments! Just a reminder (as this was brought up to me recently), there are alternatives to veneers if you were in two minds about going down this route, there are lumineers that may suit you better, so talk with your dentist first about which way to go! Sorry, had to mention that, now let’s get on with the post.
- Sherwin Williams Super paint. Holy crap guys, this paint is amazing. We used to always use Behr Ultra Premium Plus and we thought that stuff was gold, but this paint blows that out of the water. It covers everything, and uses so much less paint to cover areas than Behr did. Liquid gold I tell ya.
- Nom Nom Paleo’s Cinnamon and Coconut Pancakes. We are trying to eat Paleo as much of the time as possible now, and these babies are a god-send. To me, they taste way better than normal pancakes. Healthy? Check. Delicious? Check. Baby
approvedobsessed? Check. And go ahead and add some blueberries in there while you’re at it.
- Evernote. Yes, its been around for awhile. For some reason I had never jumped on the bandwagon though, and i’m kicking myself for not! It is totally free up to a certain amount of ‘storage’ space, and its incredible. Ways that I use it most are for recipes and notes about sites. I love checking out cook books from the library and then adding in all the recipes that look great to my Evernote. I simply snap a photo of the page on my iPad, add it to Evernote, and from there I can use tags, search for words, etc. Love it!
- Coconut oil. I have had an obsession with this stuff for a few years now, but for some reason just recently started using it as my daily ‘body lotion’. I got so sick of trying to find a good quality ingredient lotion that not only actually hydrated my skin, but also didn’t smell funky or too strong. I use coconut oil for and in a million things, so I finally tried in as my whole body lotion. It is perfection. Yes, its a little oily at first, but soaks in very fast. Keeps my skin hydrated all day long. Doesn’t smell funky. Best part? SO good for you and your skin. Woohoo! Of course, just because it works for me, doesn’t mean it will work for you. If it doesn’t work with your skin, you might want to try looking into the city beauty invisicrepe body balm instead. This should help people to moistourize their skin, especially those with dry skin. There are so many moistourizing products out there, so make sure to find the one that benefits your skin the most. Try one tonight. Take a shower, slather it on, and go to sleep. Its heavenly:)

I’m with you on the coconut oil! I use it as my face lotion. Love it.
I’m also loving the ShopSavvy app on my phone. Saved me $20 yesterday.
I loooove my Roku with Netflix and Hulu Plus. We don’t have cable, but with these things I don’t miss it. And I dearly love my tv shows. 😉
Loving NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencils. When I’m in a hurry, I just do a few swipes across my eyelids and I’m good to go.
And that will do for now. 😉
