So I lied to you guys. I was going to have all the fabulous photos of our paint work shown this week, and then I slacked. Yep, slacked. I let everything else take first priority, because sometimes that happens. But honestly- I am kind of glad I didn’t get around to taking photos, because now I can ask you something I have been meaning to ask for quite awhile.
Dining room chandeliers.
DIY? Buy? Fancy? Elegant? Rustic? Industrial?
Ya, theres a lot of options, and even a lot of options that sound great to us. For instance, we love the look of this fabulous DIY one here from Love and Renovations:
Weigh in with your thoughts please! AND don’t forget- if you haven’t entered the Graco paint sprayer giveaway yet, go do it now! And remember, you can totally enter certain entry options daily! Also, that baby is worth approx. $300..so free sounds a whole lot better:) Happy Friday my loves.

I love the first one, it just seems to be more you. Thanks for including a picture that had your son in it, he always brings a smile to my face.

I also like the chandelier in the first picture on the left. (I would call it a primitive crystal chandelier, but I’m definitely no expert.) I think something like that would look good with your shiny white table. I think something rustic would look good too. I’m sure whatever you pick will be stunning!

I think the first one from Love and Renovations will be the one that will give the most impact. I like the rectangular shape of it and the varying heights of the lights. The other ones are “normal” chandeliers, nothing special.

Except for the last one, that is cool too.
But more for a round table.

I agree that the first one is too darn cool and something that you could totally pull off.
Also, I love that white table. That will be just plain fabulous.

Maybe you could go with something like this http://cdn.homedit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/square-chandelier1.jpg or something like this http://cdn.homedit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/square-chandelier.jpg

Love the white table!!! I’m very much a classy chandy girl. Either way, you can totally pull it off.

From those above the top is my favorite, it just seems more yours style. But I do like this one that Douglas Kruegger chose, it give you the best of both worlds.

I would start with industrial ones. Get something simple and sculptural. In a few years, when you have more money, you can go for something more expensive and luxe. I could just look at pictures of that kid every day. Keep it simple. Ann

Hi Adrienne. I have been enjoyed reading your blog for a couple of years now, thank you. As much as I love the look of the first picture I can see potential problems down the track. A couple of little kiddos would find it crazy fun up on your table swinging and possibly smashing those lights into each other….it only takes one shower or toilet break! Maybe just my experience, but with three boys including twins this would not have passed them by!!! Dusting would be fun too!! Good luck with your decision, I cant wait to see what you choose.

ahh, if I had the space/table/room for it, I would put this one up in a heartbeat: http://www.potterybarn.com/products/exeter-pendant-large/?pkey=e%7Cmason%2Bjar%2Blight%7C2%7Cbest%7C0%7C1%7C24%7C%7C1&cm_src=PRODUCTSEARCH||NoFacet-_-NoFacet-_-NoMerchRules-_-
