New House Update: Kitchen Cabinets

Our kitchen cabinets are fully in, and let me tell you- they are freaking gorgeous. In our last kitchen we used Home Depot stock cabinets. They looked good, worked great, but there was nothing that special about them. This time around we used an actual cabinet company, Cornerstone Cabinets. The babies are stunning. There is such a huge difference between these and the stock cabinets from before. It was also so fun being able to choose every single detail. I was oblivious as to how many options you have for cabinets.

Moreover, I was astonished to know that there could be so many beautiful colour options for kitchen cabinets. To be honest, I would have probably never known about the best colours for the cabinets, had I not come across some resourceful blogs. I know that like me, there could be several homeowners who are wondering what colours could suit their kitchen cabinet. If you are one of them, then wonder no more as you can find ideas here.
Honestly, I am really happy with how my cabinets turned out. It has kind of stunned me (in a good way of course). I have even told my friends about the cabinets. Yes, I was so happy!

However, while I was talking to my friend about my cabinets, they said how they had hired N-Hance Wood Refinishing of Richmond to help give new life to their tired looking cabinets. They recommended I did the same. It’s a good idea but the fact that mine are from Home Depot and not custom made means that they’ll break or become faulty soon so I wanted to just replace them while we were doing up the kitchen. Maybe I’ll be looking into remodelling them with a different type (like inset kitchen cabinets) in 5 years’ time! Having said that, here they are before we got the countertops in:
