I don’t know how it happened, but somehow Mother’s Day is next weekend! Time is just flying by over here. It is totally surreal to me that this is the last Mother’s day I will be a mommy to only Bray. With all that being said, I thought I would put together a little roundup of some conventional items and some unconventional items that I think all moms would love as a Mother’s Day gift. From trying to find the perfect perfume for your Mum and a jewelry set, to new shoes or new pajamas, these are just a few things that you can buy for your mother on this special day.
1- Chemex coffee maker– This thing makes the most delicious coffee, and is especially awesome for anyone that has any issues with the acidity of coffee. Acid reflux sufferers out there- TRY this! And to state the obvious, what mom doesn’t need a little caffeine pick me up in the morning?!
2- Image Vital-C cleanser– Some of you may know I am also an esthetician. This skincare line in general is fabulous, but I especially love this cleanser. It is definitely made for more dry skin, but works amazing on anyone really.
3- Polar FT4 watch– Whether you have been working out forever, or just started- a great heart rate monitor is so necessary to have! This watch has totally changed my workouts for the better.
4- I love State napkins– Because, well, who doesn’t love adorable new kitchen towels.
5- Scotch non-toxic nailpolish– I have used this brand of polish many times and love knowing that I am not putting anything toxic on me, especially being pregnant.
6- Our Best Bites cookbook– Our Best Bites was one of the first food blogs I ever read, and they are still one of my favorites. I have made a million of their recipes, and I think I have only ever not liked one! This cookbook will for sure be a great addition to any mamas collection.
7- Kate Spade calendar– Some mamas love using their phones as their calendars, but for those who don’t, this Kate Spade calendar is stylish and functional.
8- Wine decanter- I am a believer that there are few things nicer than relaxing some nights with a fine glass of wine, and giving anyone a wine decanter as a gift will help enhance any bottle!
9- Mason jar measuring cups– I about died when I saw this at World Market! For any mom who spends a lot of time in her kitchen, these measuring cups are golden! Not only are they perfectly functional, but the jar is so adorable that it could stay on the counter as decor.
10- Worlds Okayest Mom coffee mug– this mug cracks me up! Instead of the classic ‘Worlds BEST mom’ mug, surprise your wife with a hilarious new phrase.
11- Vitamix blender– To me, this would be the grand prize to receive for any holiday. The vitamix is such an insanely versatile and powerful kitchen tool, once you have one you will never look back! Yes, it is pricey, but its worth every.single.penny.
12- Jennifer Adams sheet set– These are the sheets that are sold at Costco during road shows. We just got ours a month ago and I can’t believe we waited this long! Sheets are something that most moms wont want to fork over the montly cash budget for, so surprise her by not only getting a new set, but ALSO washing them and making the bed with them:)
13- Custom Iphone case from Shutterfly– Because what mama doesn’t love to constantly show off her amazing family?! Shutterfly lets you customize your case however you want it! Alternatively, if you’re after some fashionable, trendy and modern designs for your phone cover or case, you may like the offerings over on Mobile Mob if you’re eager to accessorize your Apple device.
