Lets be honest, today…I am tired. In the past few weeks my work schedule has completely changed. I went from working about 4 days a week on average, and my longest day was usually about 4 hours. I know, total princess schedule. Now, I am technically scheduled every day, working doing facials and nannying now. So to say that I am tired is an understatement. For real. Normally my posts are fairly planned out, well written {haha riiggghtt} and just amazing, right?! Well today i’m am simply asking for your input. We are desperately needing a new rug for the dining room. The current one is a totally wrong color for the room, and has a huge area missing the weaving, because of these sweet little faces {the dogs, not us, duh}:
This is the rug that we are needing to replace:
Here are some options that I have come up with. Give me your input, good or bad. And keep in mind, I know that some feel like you shouldn’t have a rug out during summer, to lighten things up and all. I respect your opinion on that, but we really love having the room anchored by a rug. So rug it is! Year round, I know were rebels like that!

We really like this one, and we really like the price of this one{in gray}:

This is a tough one! I really like them all, but I like the bigger scale pattern on the west elm one. Good luck!
I love the West Elm rug. I think it’s neutral enough but the pattern will complement the table and chairs. I too am “for” rugs in the dining room as long as they don’t interfere with sliding the chairs. Good luck!!
I love the yellow one, I think it would add a nice pop of color to your dark floors and table :o)
West Elm~dislike the others. I still like the one you have (I get a designer discount at West Elm ~ <3 MIL
I think I’m going to have to agree with the others…the yellow West Elm one. I think it will add color, but not be too obnoxious and take away from the beauty of the room!
I my have to say I like the yellow one. I think a pop of color is nice and I think it would look great there! Good luck!
I think the West Elm yellow is a great color, and second choice would be home decorator, I am digging the modern pattern. Good luck! big decision
Love them all but I agree, the West Elm rug does it for me.
If you can afford two..the yellow one would be beautiful for the Summer and the gray one for the winter months. Love the yellow one!
No brainer for me – dark grey, 2nd photo down …
Love the gray one i think it would ground the room and you wouldn!t get sick of it as quickly. And it would keep your eyes moving to all the other great parts of that room. I worry the yellow would suck up all the attention.
I like the West Elm one..it would give the room a splash of color!
The most classic one is a plain beige sisal, but you have gray walls. I guess a plain gray one is okay, but NO patterns. You have to think ahead to perhaps getting draperies and something else. The Ballard designs quatrafoil is probably my favorite. When you look at your room, the card catalog reads as a pattern. The last one might be nice, but in a better color. I think a rosy coral would be a good color. Very, very plain. The third rug is way too busy. Ann
I think the grey/blue one from Home Decorator’s would be great for keeping the room neutral. It would allow you to accessorize with virtually any color you wanted. But I also love the yellow Andalusia rug from West Elm! Those are my top two 🙂
Loving the West Elm! 🙂
I like the first natural fiber rug (and a little partial b/c I’m considering that one for our home too). But I like the possibilities of maybe layering something on top of it if you want to at different seasons. Would you consider a striped rug at all? I’m thinking bold stripe not wimpy thing stripes…haha.
Yellow west elm is my #1….and I also really like the home decorators chain-link gray one!! It’s neutral but so stylish!! 🙂
I like the warm tone of the yellow/mustard West Elm rug.
Love the navy one with the octagon pattern! Sooo perfect!
Much Love,

I really like the option from Home Decorators, it’s a great graphic.
I dunno, but I think I’m definitely picking up one of those quatrefoil ones for my own dining room!
I like that one, and the natural one in the first photo best.
