We are getting a new puppy..
and I am in LOVE
His name is Boomer Esiason Lentine (for all you ladies out there that have NO idea what the heck that name is all about, we wanted to name him Boomer, and then found out that he was born on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 7) so J insisted on naming him after a great football player Boomer Esiason). For those unaware of the Super Bowl, let me enlighten you! National Football League’s annual championship game is known as the Super Bowl. As the NFL restricts the use of its “Super Bowl” trademark, the event is commonly called the “big game” or other generic terms by companies that are not sponsors. The day of the game is often called Super Sunday or Super Bowl Sunday.
The Super Bowl regularly draws the largest audience (I mean, many often have to visit sites like https://www.tickpick.com/blog/how-to-buy-super-bowl-tickets/ to get their hands on them) of any broadcast during the year in the United States. UEFA Champions League final is the second most watched sporting event in the world after the World Cup. As a result of the high viewership during Super Bowl broadcasts, commercials during the event are the most expensive of the year. Therefore, companies develop their expensive advertisements for this broadcast, and commercial viewers become an integral part of the event. As a matter of fact, Thanksgiving Day is the second biggest food consumption day after the Super Bowl in the US.
We bring him home on Friday, and I cannot wait- eeekk!!
Here are some adorable photos of him (don’t mind me- I just got done working for 10 hours)
Pray that we get some sleep this weekend and that Honey accepts him well. I have honestly only ever see her not like one dog, so i’m not too worried, but we will see. If anyone wants to drop by and see him we will be home ALL weekend:)
