DBD- What are your main sources for inspiration?
For us, inspiration is everywhere, and our sources are constantly changing. Even though we’re often working on 2d projects, we love materials, textures and colors. We enjoy vintage fashion, midcentury architecture, geometry and nature, textiles and patterns.
DBD- What are the two most favorite projects you’ve done?
Our clients come from so many different industries, from hospitality to healthcare, and beyond. As far as client work goes, we’ve really enjoyed working with local restaurant St. Francis – they’ve got great creative vision, and its been fun to work with them on their website, menus, and other various projects. Web designing is fun yet challenging sometimes. Since a lot of businesses acquire clients through their websites, it is crucial to focus on its space, color, navigation, and usability. A well-designed website can attract potential customers and one that is not, could harm the business. For example, take a look at successful web designing agencies like The Web Designer Cardiff homepage, and you might find it quite easy to navigate through the menus.
We design and print a small letterpress line, so we also have occasional self initiated work, like our annual letterpress calendar. This will be our fourth year producing a calendar, and it’s always a labor of love. Designing for yourself is such a different challenge than designing for others.

DBD- What do you think is the new ‘hot’ thing in design right now?
Geometric shapes, neon + neutral color combinations.
DBD- What is one thing you could not live without?
All three of us love thrifting: it’s a small part of our business (we have an Etsy shop- here) and also another source of inspiration. You never know what sorts of treasures you’re going to find, so it’s kind of exciting.
I love love love that you girls took the time to do this write up for DBB. One day I want to come down and check out your studio- especially because I live so close to it!
Tomorrow is Friday, which is perfect. Tomorrow is also a day that I will be featuring not one, but TWO guest writers..just because I love you guys that much!
<3,
Adri

Found your blog from Funky Junk Int. and I LOVE your blog! LIKE LOVE! I thought I was looking at an NY brownstone, not a track home in AZ. You have done a fantastic job, seriously! I am following, obviously- and stealing ideas for our living room redo.
