We purchased some new card catalogs, but sadly this time we bought to strictly re-sell, not to have fun with:( Anyway- I thought y’all would like to see them anyways..and please forgive for the quality of the photos- of course I forgot my camera that night, so these are simply iPhone pics.
To start- I felt like we were making some sort of drug deal, you know, the ones where you deal in card catalogs..it seemed shady. We had the CCs brought in from Cali…

I was pretty bummed that we couldn’t keep these beauties for ourselves..
but I still am in love with the one we did🙂

I the love CCs, specially the second one! What is the fascination with them? They are really not that practical. If would have told me when I was in school (using the Dewey decimal system) that these would be such gems, I’d say you were nuts.

I just found your blog while searching for a card catalog to use as a buffet in my dining room….and of course after falling in love with the one you used in your dining room I had to go through your archives to see what other project ideas I might need to borrow. And I am absolutely in love with the 2nd catalog in this post. Truly gorgeous and if you still have it and I could figure out a way for it to get from AZ to NY (though I do have family in Phoenix hmm….)

just found you and I’m a new follower now!! okay so I have two card catalogs and before you get all giddy and think I want to sell them to you… I say..back off, I’m keeping them…
They are all ugly and brown and well, ugly. Did you paint your catty white yourself or did you find it that way?? I would love to know if you did and if you would mind sharing tips, like technique and color and type of paint and oh ya that awful prep that i would probably have to do…stuff like that… I would be so grateful!
