California Vacation

I know some of you thought that I feel off the face of the earth last week with zero postings..but I didn’t. We got to spend a full glorious week in San Diego with Js whole family. I had every intention of doing at least one or two posts while gone, but then the beach house we were staying in kept losing internet, so it wasn’t even an option. Not gonna lie though, we were having so much fun- i’m not sure I would have done more than one while being gone! But we have come to the conclusion that if we do come back here again, we would look into a yacht charter company so we can experience what it is like cruising on a yacht. Granted it may not be the cheapest activity, but it would be worth it for sure. I also think that going on activities such as san diego whale watching would also be amazing. Maybe when Bray is a little older, then that could be something we all do as a family! We’ll have to see how it all goes. Even thinking about this is exciting.
This was Brays first vacation, and mine and Js first full-week vacation since our honeymoon {we have gone on trips many times, but always less than a week}. Let me tell you, it was nothing short of perfect. We got to soak up the sun, sand, and water. Make so many fun memories with our baby boy. Eat lots {and lots and lots} of food, enjoying nightly drinks, etc. Seriously, going in to it I was just a little nervous about not only taking Bray on vacation, but also staying in one house with nine other people..for a whole week. Turns out Braylen loves vacationing, so much so that he slept through the night for the first time ever…on the day he turned 12 weeks! Go baby, go! Also turns out that we can hang with family for a solid week and not get sick of each other, another bonus 😉 Anyone going on their first vacation with anything is going to be nervous, with many thoughts racing through their minds, preparation is key. If you’re reading this and are still trying to figure out which areas would be best, you can check out ‘first vacation’ blog posts and read more about what to do and where to go. Sorted.
Here are some snap shots of what our week consisted of:

J hates the beach. Specifically he hates sand in-between his toes. No, i’m not exaggerating or joking, he is that specific! This tent however was great for Bray and him, shade=his friend – and I’m thinking of getting a couple of these sand free beach towels for future beach visits to see if they make a difference.

Can’t get over how much I loved this suit!

Super man babbyyyy

We even got to have a date night while there. AND we saw a movie during one of the days! So nice to have time just us two3>

I never stop squishing or kissing those cheeks:

Literally the first family photo with all three of us smiling:):):)

Just walking at 12 weeks;)

This smile, and those arm rolls- they make my world go round…

So this explains my absence, sorry about that friends! This week I will be showing y’all the crib skirt I made, and some projects finished from his nursery, so be sure to check back. Also, later this morning you should hop on over to Scottsdale Moms Blog. I am talking about a VERY interesting secret of mine:)

Adri, you look amazing, girl! Love it! After baby #4 I’m having a harder (longer) time bouncing back, but I hope to rock a bathing suit like that soon!
