I cannot believe that Christmas is this weekend! So excited! And we find out the sex of our baby on Saturday! Could this weekend get any better?! This year I put up most of our decorations, but not all. For some reason it just seemed not necessary. Maybe its because I realize that once we have kid{s} the house will always be decorated. So without further ado, here is what Christmas looks like in our home:
Our quaint tree. Totally a mix of newer ornaments, and ones from our childhood:
Fun finds from estate sales. I got the beautiful runners and they are so perfect, hand stitched!
This tree makes me smile because its so similar to the one I grew up with:
Our Christmas mantle. I have to be careful not to put anything on it thats too tall, because we dont have the luxury of the mantle not having a TV above it:
Adding a string of red wooden balls to our Driftwood Art adds just enough of a holiday touch:
I know its not a crazy amount of Christmas in our home, but for us- its just enough. At least until this baby is here next year, and then i’m sure it will be a little over the top!
i love the beads on the driftwood art! and i had a tree just like that ceramic one as a kid, too!!! i am fairly certain my mom painted it in her ceramics class!!!! can’t wait to find out what the baby is! 🙂 make sure to drop in and tell us, and of course have a very merry christmas!

Everything looks perfect~Love the necklace around the moose <3
I have the same green ceramic Christmas tree (that I grew up with) but now I’ve added two more one white, one red. I’ve decided I’m collecting them now but won’t pay more that $5 for a new one. 🙂
It looks amazing and super Christmas-y! My only decoration is my Christmas tree… to me, you already out did yourself haha. Can’t wait to see what baby Lentine is! 😀 Merry Christmas!!
Those table runners are beautiful! And I love your ceramic tree. I had a bigger one that my Mother in law made for me and it got broken last yr.(boohoo) Maybe I should check out some estate sales for a new one!
I love the beads. You have some amazing decorations. I am so glad I found your special place here. Thanks for sharing. I will follow on my way out so as I would love to visit again. I hope you will find the time to come visit my place and do the same. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and I look forward to engaging and supporting your blog in the New Year. Cheers SpecialK XoXo

Wow everything looks amazing! Seeing that ceramic light up tree makes me smile too because my parents have one very similar to that. I think they still have it and someday I hope to get it if my sisters don’t want it. They have such fun slightly “vintage” charm. I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks they are cool.
