We love Craigslist.
Seriously though, probably about 80% of the items in our home are Craigslist finds. About 15% of our stuff is from estate sales, which I go to with our great friends the Durkins {who have an awesome mid century industrial furniture store, Modern Manor}. Finally about 5% we actually buy new. One store that I would spend all my money in if I could though would be Anthropologie. I tend to love almost everything in there, but this one chair in specific took my heart. It was my dream to one day own this chair or at least something very similar. The chair below is the gem, the Conservatory Chair- and guess what,it could be all mine for only $798!! I think I cried a little when I saw the price, but it made J and I even more determined to find a similar chair for a deal. That was that, the picture of the chair went into The Dream Book, and the mission began.
J found this gem one day on Craigslist, and my heart smiled, literally! The chair was in perfect condition, rarely even sat on before {it was in one of those rooms that people didn’t go in, you know the ones that always looked like the carpet was just vacuumed}, and is now ours for $250! Yes, in some minds $250 is still steep {and normally for us as well}, but come on- look at that baby!!!

I like your chair even better then the anthro one (although, I do love that one too).
And no, I don’t have any special pieces, hopefully soon. 🙂

I do love me some Anthropologie, but I also think your chair is better then the anthro one! And it totally pulls your family room together. Gray and yellow is my absolute favorite color combo!
