4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. It is also my Birthday, but thats not even why I love it so much. 4th of July means BBQs, grilling, swimming, and the sun setting nice and late. I love getting together with family and friends that day, so why not create a cute table for the party? I am all for having decor that can cross over to multiple holidays, but sometimes it is also nice to have something specific {as long as you can make it for cheap!} Here are the easy and cheap candle holders I made for this 4th!
Supplies:
– Glass vases. I got mine at the Dollar store..for $1. Shocker! I knew I wanted most of the holders to be taller though, so I bought candle stick holders and smaller vases, and glued the vase on top of the candle stick holder.
-Tape, so you can tape off where you want the paint to go.
-Spray paint. I used the classic red, white, and blue.
I kept this project as easy as possible by simply making one of the tall holders in to a star and the rest just straight lines. All in all it took me 25 minutes to glue, tape, and paint everything.
25 minutes and $9 later, this is what I got:
I love that I can use these candle holders for the 4th of July, or even Memorial day events. They were super easy and cheap to make, and add a fun little spark to the table setting! Now if only they magically made the temps go down to the 80’s {or even the 90’s} for the day, I would be in love;)
