Raise your hand if you love carpet? Haha, I know that not everyone is all for carpet, and I GET IT! In the two homes we have owned we have never had any carpet at all. While I love the aesthetic look of hardwood, and even the cleaning factor for it, I miss having carpet. I miss getting out of bed in the mornings and stepping out on to some soft cushy carpet! So, when we do flips, sometimes we get carpet installation contractors Austin to put carpet in- and Braylen and I promptly do this:
But really, what’s more comfy to walk on than fresh new carpet?! No rug can compare- I promise. And if you found a rug that is better, tell me :). When we do flips, I love looking on sites like empirefloors.com for the best brand, picking the colors, checking the prices, and that feeling when they’re first installed is second to none! Having a fresh carpet is such a beautiful feeling, but quite a rare one for many of us, as our carpets often gradually become less clean the longer they last. However, this may just mean that you need your carpet cleaned so you can regain that feeling of freshness in the most important rooms of your home.
The house is moving along so fast now. We are guessing we will be 100% done next week, and that is just crazy! I wanted to share some snippets today of where we are at with it. To start, lets talk about how freaking adorable is this little potty corner. Haha yes, a potty corner.
While it is not refinished yet, we finally have the tub in for the guest bath, and it is quite dreamy!
That bathroom is going to be killer! All classics with white and black and all things good.
Next up, the fireplace is almost completed. I would kill for a real wood burning fireplace, so this home makes me a little envious. I love our DIY fireplace at home, but this one takes the cake.
And finally, here is the star of the show. {well one of the four stars, since we are doing this home with Ryan and Kylie, but he is the star of my show}. I feel like this man needs a shout out. Jeremy works harder than any individual I have ever met, and everyone that knows him can attest to that. He loves his family so passionately, and the way that he manages to work hard at loving us, and work hard at creating beautiful homes for other families- well it just makes me wanna shout from the rooftops I FREAKING LOVE THIS MAN.
Thats it folks. Until next week, love you all:)

Yes, although wall to wall carpet is not historic or anything, it sure is nice for everyday life. The bathroom is looking very good, the black liner really makes it sharp.
