Yesterday was a blissfully cold and gloomy day in Phoenix. Some of you may think I am crazy right now for loving that, but when just two days ago I was sweating while working outside with my herbs and flowers, it was a welcome change. I had a great doctors appointment, got to hear that beautiful little swoosh/thump of a heartbeat and hear that everything was going perfectly {praise God!}. I went to lunch with one of my best girlfriends Melissa Young and spent the night getting in to the Christmas spirit. Looking at this probably helped:
I wrapped some Christmas gifts, may have sent few through cheap courier service, to people living in abroad or in other cities. Thankfully, finding a cheap delivery service can be easier now with the assistance of websites that compare different companies with global approach. I might have received a courier australia from a friend there, who probably used a similar service. Such services let their clients compare budgets, plans, logistics, courier quotes, and also provide free package pick-up service. Gift exchange is one of the highlights of Christmas, and I love sending gifts (receiving too!).Gift exchange is one of the highlights of Christmas, and I love sending gifts (receiving too!). That said, one of my friends who celebrated the festivities of Christmas at her workplace told me that they were given digital gift cards in large numbers by the organisation. Perhaps the company used something similar to Gift Card Software to provide those gift cards to the employees. She told me that she was quite happy with the gift vouchers she got, which is why, as a gesture of goodwill, she also put some gifts under the office Christmas tree. She also told me that she exchanged gifts with her colleagues.
Anyway, coming back to the topic, I looked up some amazing holiday recipes, realized I need to make these gingersnap cookies ASAP, and just enjoyed the evening. I was supposed to join some girlfriends for dinner, but do you ever have those nights where you just want to stay in, be cozy, and do a whole lot of nothing much? Ya, I did just that. Happy weekend friends, hope its a great one.
