I had a tutorial all done up for today, but then honestly it just felt wrong to not make this day solely about remembering those who have/and still continue to serve our country. I am so grateful for you. I am grateful for the time you sacrifice, the comfort of your home and family you sacrifice, and most importantly, those who end up having to sacrifice their lives. You all amaze me. I am going to admit something ugly about myself right now- when J and I first started to get serious I told him that I wouldn’t ever want him to go into the military. I selfishly wanted him here with me, always. How horrible am I?! So many wives and husbands out there every.day. are longing for their loved ones to come home. Moms and dads praying that their sons and daughters make it back safely. To those who serve {have served} and to those who have family members that do, you are my hero.
