How To Throw a Great Halloween Party

This weekend J and I had the great pleasure to attend our friends Halloween Party. It was so fun to hang out with friends, but also to take in all of our friends hard work on the decor and food. She seriously made every room in her house seem spooky, haunted, and just plain cute. We were so impressed! At one point I even got my camera out to show J pictures of some of the rooms, his response was “Yeah babe, I’m at the same party as you, I see it with my own eyes”. Haha, I guess I was just so impressed!!

Tips for throwing a great Halloween Party: {really any holiday, just make the appropriate changes}

  • Have decorations all over the house, indoors and out. Two sites that are always good to go to for decoration ideas {non-cheesy ones, that is} are Pottery Barn and Better Homes and Garden{I love this site for party ideas}. When it comes to decorating for parties, in my opinion, I think it a good call to have a mix of homemade decorations and store bought. Not only for the fact that it won’t all have the same feel, but also to make sure you don’t go insane while prepping for the party.

  • Try to find drinks from places such as www.oaks.delivery that match your party’s theme in some way. Example: For drinks at a Halloween party, add dry ice so it appears to be smoking. Also, you can add cool-aid around the rims of glasses to look like dripping blood {looks gross-tastes good}.
  • You can also spice up your party by dabbing weed concentrates and vaporizing the oil with dab rigs. You don’t even need to concentrate very hard to get high. To inhale the vapor, you may just need to put a small amount of marijuana wax on the nail to create smoke to inhale the vapor. However, if you don’t have the dab rig, you can check them out at online stores like smokersvice and have an ultimate dry herb smoking experience with hopefully excellent filtration.
  • Another Halloween fun activity you could introduce is playing board games or casino games at the party. All the guests can register on a casino website and play slots with each other. If you reside somewhere near Ontario, you may have to look for Casinos that Accept Players from Ontario. Then the guests can place bets, enjoy some of their favorite games as well as socialize with each other.

  • Have food that goes with the theme as well. For ideas on holiday food try these sites {they are some of the resources I use for parties}. Our Best Bites, Martha Stewart , and Southern Living.
  • Most importantly though, be surrounded by the ones that you love.

Adri
