Well now its the whole entire room…and the wood is discontinued! What the WHAT!?! Yes, the same wood we just purchased a few months back, not on clearance or ‘close out’ pricing at all. We are calling every.single.place out there to see if anyone has any left in stock, since we always buy extra {but not enough to do an entire room!} we don’t need a ton, but definitely are in need. The worst part is that if no-one truly has any than we have to wait three months for some to be made. Yes, three whole freaking months on the front room not having flooring. Big big bummer.

I love the nursery. Such a cute room. We are expecting our first Grandchild in Sept and it will be fun to see how the kids decorate it.
Have a Fabulous Thursday.

Bummer about the flooring! =( I absolutely drooled over the midcentry backyard/nursery/bathroom design. They are so creative and I just loved it! Especially that backyard… maybe because ours is just grass and boring right now haha! Now Braylen’s nursery I always loved! Loved in the first house and really like it in this house! I’m curious to what lighting you’ll pick in the changing table area!! I’m in the process of working on our nursery and it’s not even nearly as beautiful as yours but decorating it has been fun!!

I tried to comment on Bray’s nursery! Very cute and sweet and I’m sure you are happy it’s put together! We did a massive remodel on our current home and it gave me such satisfaction to have rooms feel finished and put together even if they weren’t quite how were were planning to have them.

Well thanks for the update. It gave me a chance to go through lots of your past posts. You two really have some skills! And lots of courage. The new house is going to be wonderful, but it always takes way more time than you expect. Really. And lots of patience. What helps is that by the time you eventually get to those projects, you have more money than you originally thought and a whole new perspective. Isn’t it more fun to make your own way (ok, forget the Home Depot cabinets!) instead of just going in and having contractors do everything at once? In our first co-op in NYC we had to paint a closet first before we could put our clothes in there. It was listed as a “wreck.” We eventually sold it at a huge profit. Ann
