These images are all from AT. The cool story behind them though is amazing. The YMCA womens shelter in Tacoma,WA asked 22 designers to adopt a room and create a beautiful space for the women in the shelter. There’s such beauty in life when you can do something your good at and you love to do, and turn it around to be good for others as well.

I love the look of plate collages on walls. I actually was going to do one in our kitchen before we remodeled it, glad I didn’t take the time before we knocked down that wall!!

Yay! There’s a new columnist on decor8. She made this amazing branch light. Even though she didn’t give clear DIY instructions, I feel like J and I {or you know, just J} could totally figure this out!
