It’s A…

This baby is all BOY! And we couldn’t be more thrilled!

It’s funny because so many moms have this motherly intuition about their baby being one sex or the other, and all I had was the fact that every time I pictured our baby I pictured a girl. BUT the only two dreams I had of our baby were of it being a boy. Maybe those dreams were my form of intuition;) Anyway, we had a blast being able to find out at the same time as our whole family {minus my sister-in-law who the ultrasound tech texted, so we could do the balloon reveal}. We felt like it was way more fun to find out this way on Christmas Eve, rather than just in the ultrasound room.

Christmas night

Christmas eve we slept at my in-laws and celebrated the morning with them, then Christmas night we celebrated with my family. Our moms are both so incredible. My MIL makes the most delicious breakfast spread on Christmas mornings, and this year I definitely “ate for two” because I couldn’t help myself. My mom hosted this years dinner and did a great job DIYing all of her table decor. She made these chair slip covers out of table cloths from Savers:

Every part of the centerpieces was from thrift stores as well. Who says you can’t make a table look great for cheap!?


Overall our Christmas was perfect! We spent a ton of time with family, found out that this little baby in my belly has a weenie, and celebrated the true meaning on Christmas. I can’t even imagine just how much fun it will all be next year with a babe in tow!!

    Congratulations! I was absolutely convinced I was carrying a girl and all the wives tales said girl…you can imagine my shock a couple weeks ago when I delivered my baby boy. I returned the pink clothes, but just couldn’t part with the pink tu-tu 😉
