My Love For Target’s Cartwheel

targetsthreshold Do you guys remember this past summer when I shared my love of Targets Threshold line to you? Well that was even before I realized the best thing ever existed…the Cartwheel App.   I always attempt to only to go Target when I know exactly what I need, otherwise it is the most dangerous store for me! I could walk out of there spending well over $100 and not even realize it!  Do you do that as well? It’s a vortex and it sucks me in, every dang time! It’s hard to resist it especially when I go and get the necessities, along with non-necessities {even though in my mind I think they are totally necessary!}.  I mean- how can you resist shoes like these? I am admittedly obsessed with anything camel colored, so these were right up my alley:

So with this store being the vortex that traps you in with their incredible merch, have you heard of the app Cartwheel before? Or are you looking at the screen like it has three heads?! Let me tell you a little about it: This app couldn’t be easier. I am the queen for not remembering a million different logins to sites, so I simply sign in through FB. An added bonus to signing in that way is that you can see what your friends are ‘adding to their list’. I have certain friends that always have the best finds on their list, so often times I seriously just check theirs out and add it all to mine. They even have categories, and well-known people showcasing their lists. Do you guys read the blog Enjoying the Small things? Kelle Hampton is incredible, and she has her list constantly showcased, which I love! I also love how it literally couldn’t be any easier to use. You can sign in and search for something specific, browse categories, or if in the store- you can even scan a barcode to quickly see if it’s on the app currently:

 I especially love this because I am usually with Bray during the shopping trip, and if I don’t have insane amounts of crackers on hand, the trip needs to be speedy! A quick scan of the barcode and I know if I am saving anywhere from 5-25%, or nothing. And surprisingly it usually does affect my decision to purchase the item or not. Especially since a lot of items do go on sale often, so I just wait it out! My favorite thing to go on sale on the app? Diapers! Bray mainly is in cloth diapers, but we use disposable while out and about, and overnight. My go to cheap diapers are Target’s brand Up&Up. IMG_0089   I will only buy diapers when they are on sale on the app! Especially since you can use the one discount up to four times for the item. Score!     I love target cartwheel. I used it this last weekend when they had 25% off Circo and Cherokee toddler clothes. Score! And it’s always nice to get and extra 5% off whole milk since Jordan goes through it like crazy. I got on this morning and they had a deal for 40% off one maternity item, which helps my pregnant butt!

    Seriously love that app! My fav go to item is the diapers and wipes. Luckily they are almost always on there! Would be amazing to win the gift card so I could actually use it for items I want instead of need 😉

    I love it when the up and up diapers are on sale…that 5% helps out every time! And I didn’t know that you can scan the barcode while in store to see how much of a discount they’re currently offering! Thanks!!!

    I don’t know, I could buy anything there. I like housewares, clothes, groceries, outdoor products, toys….but I do not have the app installed yet becasue I’m not a smartphone. I’m a stupid phone. My hubby has been alerted to the app’s existence and we’re a big target family so I expect that to happen soon.

    In addition to Threshhold items, I would totally cartwheel Target’s women’s boots – both the cute rubber boots and the leather boots. I live in Seattle and am always looking for warm, dry footwear. 🙂

    I love Target and yes I always buy way more than just what I came in their for! 🙂 Our Target is right next to our grocery store, so I buy most of our toiletries and cleaning supplies at Target because they are always cheaper. I am not a big technology person though, and do not own a smartphone………..gasp…………….some maybe someday when I catch up to this century I will try the app! 🙂

    I just got a new phone and I’m excited about downloading this app. I love Target shopping and this will just be icing on the cake. I am also expecting a new grand baby in October, so I will be taking advantage of the baby related deals.
