There is so much progress happening on the house, it’s amazing!!! Here are a few sneak peeks of some of my favorite things happening.
Here is Brays room. J had quite the fun time painting his built-ins, they are stubborn to say the least. We will do a full tutorial on how to make painting stubborn wood a little bit easier in the future. It was safe to say that painting the built-ins nearly defeated J, and we both thought about finding an interior painting company such as Precision Paint towards the end, but we’re glad we got it finished! We are still changing out the hardware on these, and obviously putting the closet doors back on, but I am just in love with the ‘changing table’ counter.
Floors are now almost all the way in. The stairs and our bedroom still need to be finished, but all of the downstairs is DONE. And guess what, they are freaking stunning!!! Now what’s pending is our roofing. We should probably start looking for roofing contractors (like the ones at Walker Roofing) to get it done well.

It’s looking good! I was just thinking today that I would love to see an update on your house! 🙂
Thanks Susan! Can’t wait to share more
Wow, love to see the progress. I am so happy to see it coming together for you and your sweet family. That wood flooring is yummy!
Thanks so much-were pretty excited! And yes-yummy is a perfect word for it:)
Looks great! What type of flooring did you put in? Real hardwood, engineered? We are trying to decide between laying real hardwood or the tile that looks like wood…
Its Maverick Hickory and its engineered. We got it at Tom Duffy’s. we liked the idea if the wood looking tile, but I hate the feeling of the cold tile, and love the warmth of wood-so we went with wood. Good luck on your decision, you can’t go wrong since both are beautiful
Show. Me. MOOOORE! :))) Looking good guys!
