It is time for a change, and I am pretty excited about it! A lot of the blogging I do here, I do because it is fun, something I want to talk about, share, etc. But sometimes it is really nice to just know what y’all are wanting to hear about, see me share, etc! So- I am coming to you to get some input. I am taking away Design Inspiration Mondays {for various reasons} and am wanting to replace it with something even better. I love having some sort of a series running on the blog, but I haven’t had that ‘ah-ha’ moment on what the new series should be.
So, do you have an opinion on it? Thoughts? I am pretty open. I think it could be fun to do a tips series ranging on everything from cleaning, eating healthy, DIY, parenting, etc. Or maybe a best-of-the-best series where I show my favorites out there on a different subject each week {think everything from sofas and lighting, to moisturizers and hairspray}? Or how about introducing y’all to a different blogger each week who is inspirational to me?
I never get that bummed that the whole era of actual comments on blog posts is practically over, but I am begging you to pleaseeee give me your opinions in the comments of this post. I want this new series to be something that gets y’all excited to see weekly!

I love the idea of some mini series; bloggers, essential oils, clean eating, exercising and of course still the DIY 🙂

Can’t say what I’d like , but can say what I don’t like. Selfies , Food/Recipes (so overdone , everywhere we look ) , limited baby stuff.

I think your tips idea is great! I love hearing what’s worked for other moms as far as cleaning, parenting, DIY and healthy recipes so I’d love to read a series like that from you

Your photograpy is so beautiful, maybe a series on what you do
Adri says
Peggy you are too sweet. Esp. since I feel like photography is one area that I Seriously lack in! Thank you!
Kelley says
Love your photography tips. would also like to hear about how life is with living with your parents.
Adri says
Thanks Kelley. Honestly, having my parents live with us is still SUCH a blessing!! We love having the close relationship, andddd the help with the kids;)
Holly says
I would LOVE to see a tips series! : )
Adri says
Thanks Holly! Will be doing a weekly one I think!

I would love to hear more about your house flipping business. Also, the houses in your area are quite different from those in the rest of the country. Would love to see more of those, especially those that you would consider for a flip. Plus the pros and cons of each house.
There are enough mommy type blogs. You have more to offer about design, rehab, etc. Thanks.
Adri says
Thanks Ann! I will for sure be sharing a lot more of the flipping process and design here! Never knew everyone would be so excited about it:):)
Erin says
I also love the idea of tips. It could just be one thing you did or one product you found that’s really working for you. Sort of an “it worked for me” feature that could cover all sorts of categories. I love getting the inside scoop from my girlfriends, so this would be aa similar idea.
Adri says
Thanks for the input Erin! I would love to think of it that way too, girlfriends sharing their good product secrets:) I will for sure being doing it!
Lin says
I also would love to hear more about the flipping business. It would be helpful to see what houses you pass up and why. Tips on finding good contractors and what happens when you open a can of worms and have to go to Plan B.
Of course, I’d also love to see what other blogs inspire you.
Adri says
Thanks for the awesome feedback Lin. I never even thought to talk about what homes we pass on and why {and there is a LOT we pass on!} We have also had a lot of issues with the flips during different parts, so it will be fun to share it all on the blog now!
Karen says
While I am all for change, I am actually disappointed that there will no longer be Design Inspiration Mondays. I look forward to it every week. Perhaps you may want to consider incorporating it into your new project somehow. Good luck!
Adri says
Hi Karen! I am honestly bummed too, but there has been a lot of legal stuff happening to other bloggers that I am trying to steer clear of, and stopping DIM really helps me do that:/
Shannon says
I like the idea about sharing more about the house flipping. Also sharing about other bloggers you enjoy would be nice to see.
Adri says
Thanks so much for the feedback Shannon. Will try and do both more!

AnneW, Erin and Shannon have said what I think. If we got together in a room, flipping would be what we’d end up talking about, not cleaning tips. I have flipped houses in the past and once the economy changed I had to change my approach drastically as in, we live in the house while we are flipping it. I always try to get the kids rooms set up first and then we slog through the rest. It’s been such a fun thing for me and I always love it when I get to do it. There is never enough money though. On the other hand, you have to write about what you are living; babies, food, kitchen . . . that stuff too.
Adri says
Thanks Vanessa! You are a brave brave soul to do flips while living in them! With kids!! I will for sure be talking more about them now. I am excited that everyone is wanting to hear about it all!! Thanks for the input

I found your blog when I was pregnant and loved looking at your weekly pregnancy posts. Your blog is the first that I check daily and I love the honesty in your postings. The house flipping is awesome, but I like parenting/family posts as well! Please don’t stop with the mommy posts!
Adri says
Thanks Jessica. So fun that we could do the pregnancy together. I always found it SO nice to see what other people were feeling/experiencing at different points in the pregnancy journey. I dont plan on stopping the mommy posts:)
