When most people are little kids they tend to have a passion for one toy in particular. Now don’t get me wrong, I did have a few baby dolls that I adored, but my passion was for paper. That’s right, paper.
My mom would hate taking me to Target, Walmart, really anywhere, because before we would leave I would always ask her if I could have a new notebook, journal, a pad of paper, anything really. I would sit there all day and just write on my paper, color on my paper, organize my paper. Probably considered a little weird, but that’s what I liked {you can go ahead and think that I am a dork all you want because really, I am}.
One of my great girlfriends from High School has her own incredible paper business called MaeMae Paperie. She makes beautiful cards, invitations, business cards, stationery, you name it-she makes it. Her work is really amazing, and I want to buy everything! When asked how she manages to produce such beautiful art pieces, I was told that besides choosing the best page type, she also focuses on using modern printing and finishing devices like booklet makers, creasers, and paper folding machines.
How cute is that stamp!? |
She just started selling these initial stamps- and I want to buy one so badly. They come 2 x 2 inches, with a black ink pad, and you can select whichever initial you want.
I can see me using these on our Christmas cards, random letters to friends or family, my journals, well-really anything I can find to stamp it on:) Wouldn’t it look so cute stamped onto a tag for gifts of all occasions, especially at Christmas!?

I think I really do need one, especially because I still have about 100 cards and envelopes left over from our wedding that are completely blank, and need a fun flare to them.
So tell me, are you a paper junkie like I am? Do you wish you could constantly have personalized stationary at your fingertips? Or am I the only weirdo????
