Yesterday I got my hair done by my best girlfriend Melissa Young {photography}. Yes, you read that right, she does hair and photography… overachiever much?! The salon she works at is one of the coolest places ever. Not only are the people that work there so friendly, fun, and inviting, but the place is decorated to perfection. Mike and Jess, the owners, spent a long time gathering pieces that they thought have character. They painted the hair dressers stands themselves, made the mirrored doors, etc. Talk about an owner putting their heart and soul in to their career. You wanna see what I mean?

How amazing is this place?! I’m slightly obsessed with the wood ceiling, the exposed brick, the chandeliers, oh- and the fact that they give you wine when you get your hair done. Wine, my friends. How much better could a hair appointment get?! If you live in Phoenix, be sure to check this place out- its off of 16th St. and McDowell. Go and have Melissa make you feel like a million bucks by time you leave! Happy Friday!
