So I finally got around to snapping some photos of the white picket fence. I am excited to show it to y’all, but also a little apprehensive because the grass looks so bad right now. Beggars cant be choosers in getting a perfect photo though. Maybe in a few weeks I will update it with the beautiful winter grass we get.
I can’t even explain how happy it makes me to look out our big front window and see a bright white fence. I feel like it did a facelift on our whole. Isn’t it amazing how such a little change can change so much? Like adding a wreath to your door, or new flowers in a pot.
Heres to hoping that the yard guys don’t reck the paint job in one time of mowing the grass. The fence usually looks pretty chopped up at the bottom, and I wish there was a way to prevent this- but I don’t think there is.
So, have you guys done anything to spruce up your front yards lately? Flowers, new paint job, a Fall wreath? Let me know!

So charming and pretty! I love this classic look. I dont have a yard but I did just buy a new bougainvillea plant in hot pink for my little balcony!

I love it when I get a big project done that I have been putting off. Usually the process is less painful than I had imagined it to be. I do have outdoor projects that need done (siding and paint) but those are going to have to wait. Estimate $26,000 ouch!! Maybe I will just plant some flowers 🙂

Wow! The fence looks great! We (meaning my hubby, I was the cheerleader because I was sick) painted all the trim on our barn and shed this weekend. It made such a difference. I remember your post from last week about the fence job not being fun, and how you would rather get a more fun job done. Well my hubby painted everything and hung my new chandelier, so I was able to get not so fun and fun things done this weekend! 🙂

So clean and fresh. There is nothing quite like a white picket fence. Worth all that hard work I’d think, but that is easy for ME to say! Are you hard at a different kind of work what with it being “spa week” popping more pimples and smooshing out more wrinkles than ever?

Maybe you could mulch and plant along the bottom of the fence so that the lawn guys don’t weed whack it.
