About a month ago J and I asked for your advice regarding our beautiful West Elm rug. We absolutely loved the rug, but knew it was simply too small. We got a ton of feedback {thank you!} with y’all saying that we should put a rug underneath it to make it larger, or double up on the same rug, or just get a different one all together. By far the most popular opinion though was to simply bite the bullet and fork out the cash for the larger, more scale appropriate size..and thats exactly what we did.
Check out the new beauty:
I love the larger size. I also love that it totally ties in with the runner we have in the kitchen:

It’s amazing how much a light colored rug can really brighten a space. The mustard yellow mixed with grey and off-white is quite possibly my most favorite color combo, ever. Of course we didn’t pay full price for the rug, I think that goes against our being. We got a 10% off coupon on eBay for $4.50, which saved us a total $20. Not a massive savings, but something is better than nothing.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. If you live somewhere that is actually looking like fall with the leaves changing, enjoy it! Jump in a couple of piles while your at it!

Our leaves have been changing for a while… but I don’t know that I’d want to jump in them since it’s been raining for the past week… ugh! Your rug is lovely! We’re trying to decide on a rug for our living room right now. Rugs are so expensive! It’s very hard to decide!
I love it!! I love the little pattern on the ends especially. You guys have great style!
