Over this weekend J and I had the huge privilege of speaking and learning at the Revive blog conference. It was so incredible to network with so many other local bloggers. It was inspiring, motivating, and heartwarming. One of the people that moved me the most was Ashley from The Shine Project. She is a young woman who has a huge heart for the youth in Phoenix. Through her non-profit she has been able to help kids go to college, and in turn change their lives from the path they were previously going down {100% of the money they raise goes to scholarships!}.
One of the ways that she helps raise money for the kids scholarships is through their for-profit jewelry line Threads. Each and every piece of jewelry is made by the kids to help not only help pay for schooling, but also to instill a good work ethic in them {they get paid $12-20/hour!}. On top of it all being for such an incredible cause, the jewelry is seriously good looking! I am so not a jewelry girl, at all, and I couldn’t resist buying a bracelet at the conference.

Ill be back tomorrow with updated photos of the house, in its current crazy messy state;)
