Things Don’t Always Go As Planned

We have been so excited with the kitchen makeover, especially because we felt like we got out of it with only a few things going wrong. Some say that everyday its something ‘new’ going wrong, and we thankfully didn’t have that experience…until this past week. We got our lovely new front loaders and were eager to try them out. Well, the delivery guys said that we needed a spigot {I first spelled this spiket, then spicket, then I looked it up online} added to our gas line in order to use it. Woops! How did we {and the workers} not know about this!

Fast forward four days, the soonest the guy could come out, {keep in mind, I have about 1 1/2 weeks worth of laundry piling up!} and he adds the spigot, but the gas isn’t working. The gas line guys hooked up to a NON working pipe, not the WORKING gas line. Totally genius right? Fast forward two more days and this is what the kitchen looked like:
I know you’re jealous! Luckily, they were able to fix it fast, and clean up well. I am so excited to be able to finally use the new babies, so hopefully there will be no more days where our front porch looks like this:
When J got home this night he said
“wow babe, you sure do make us look classy!”

I had to dry some necessities {ok the sweater wasn’t a necessity, but I wanted to wear it again!} like work clothes and boxers:) Now that it is all fixed, laundry should be a breeze!

Happy Friday, hope everyone enjoys their weekend!
<3,
Adri

I hate your lovely kitchen had a hiccup. Glad it was a quick fix!
