Did you know that I have never once taken two weeks straight off from blogging? Granted when I first started this blog I only did it for family members, so it was hit or miss back then. But for about the last four years I have never gone that long without at least posting a quick update {you know, when I had my two babies}. Crazy I tell ya!
We have had some pretty serious family stuff going on and I just really felt like it was time to step back, be with family, and not even think for a second about this little space I occupy on the internet. And you know what- it has been nice! I have had more time just playing with my kids, going to the park, having big meals, etc. I have allowed myself time to process, to deal with everything happening, and to not worry about the things that aren’t truly important.
So- where am I at now? I am pretty much back. We are still in the middle of a storm, but I am going to be posting here and there during it. Eventually I will be back to my regular postings, but sometimes life just makes you STOP. Slow down, take it in, focus on whats real. And whats real to me is family.
I’ll leave you with some sweet faces from Easter, and be back this week with an update on the Slump Block Ranch flip- because it is SOOO different you guys- you won’t even recognize it!
