Valentines Day Idea Round-up

I am taking full advantage of the fact that this is the very last year..ever..that I will have a Valentines Day without kid{s} around. When your alone Valentines Day can feel like the worst day of the year. This is why you may wish to seek the company of a London escort instead. Because this is my last without kids, I am not really making any crafts for holidays unless it is something that I really want to have. I feel like from here on out I will not only want to, but will also feel like I need my home to be festive for any and all holidays to keep the kids happy. Kids change everything! So, I’ll have to hide those books of Sexy Poems husband got me last Valentine’s. The season of making love will have to become the season of cute red hearts! With all of that being said, here are some of the fun things floating around the blogosphere for Valentines Day:
Cute vintage looking bunting via:

Adorable heart whoopie pies via:

Love letter cookies via:

Valentines day fortune cookies via. I would love to make these and stick cute little love notes inside:

I am in love with this Love You More printable via. This will be so cute for kids lunches, or love letters to J:

Great DIY packaging tips via:

And of course, leave it to I Am Baker to come up with a perfect V-day cake and cookie recipe:

I should not be allowed to look at desserts at night time. In the past 5 minutes I have wanted rice crispy treats, brownies, sugar cookies, and more. Thankfully I have J next to me to make me realize that 10pm is too late to start a batch of anything, so i’ll just stick to my go to golden graham cereal. Happy weekend friends!

All of these are fantastic! I love the envelope cookie! And I’m wanting something sweet, too!

That envelope cookie image is fab! I love it!! I’m wondering if I could have a go at those…I think not. I;d eat all the icing first. And probably the cookie dough too!
