Happy Valentines day! Every year Jeremy and I have a tradition that we celebrate Valentines day either a couple days before of after, never on the actual day.
A lot of people might want to celebrate this day by staying indoors and ordering flowers (from the likes of Melbourne Florist), exchanging gifts with their partner, or having a candlelight dinner with their significant other. Others might simply choose not to celebrate this day, or focus more on special self-care routines. Then there are others who may probably search “free sex near me” and do something interesting for themselves during this special day. While all the ideas sound equally romantic, we however went to Modern Steak for dinner and drinks this year. It was absolutely amazing. The food, the design, the dirty martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives… It was perfect:) It amazes me constantly just how much my love for J seems to grow every day. I adore sharing my life with him.
Feb. 12th is the five year anniversary of my Gma’s passing. For those of you who don’t know me well, my grandma was my absolute best friend. She was the kindest, most loving, adorable, tiny person i knew. (I say tiny because she literally was only around 4’8 and about 80 lbs.) She moved in with my parents after they had only been married about 2 months, and never left! So needless to say, she was like a second mom to me and my siblings. She passed away at 94 1/2 still doing amazing and being the most fun, funky, incredible gma. I miss her everyday and feel so incredibly blessed to have had her in my life.
To end on a happy note, J and I took Honey to the dog park for the first time today. I really wanted her to have a great time there. She’s such a beautiful baby and I’ve been thinking about doing some Valentine’s shopping for her as well. Cheesy?…maybe, but Fetching Ware and collections like theirs have some ‘fetching’ gifts for dogs so honestly, who can resist? Anyway, she had a blast, it was so entertaining watching her. She was a lot more timid than we thought she would be. Normally Honey dominates (seriously) any dog she plays with, no matter what their size is, but here she was a coward! It was a great Saturday afternoon.

So I happened to notice that you wrote on Carrington’s facebook that you live at 44th and Indian School? We were at 36th & In. Sch. and just moved to 70th & Osborn. When Carrington moves back and will be living so close we should all get together some time!
