I cannot even believe that it has been two whole years since Winston Kennedy entered our world.

His birth was totally different than Brays, and made me realize that its a-ok if it doesn’t go according to ‘my plan’. Since day one this kid has flipped my expectations upside down! Coming from only having one kid before him, I thought so many things about Bray were because of mine and Jeremy’s parenting. Oh how quickly did we learn that each kid is SO different, no matter how much you parent them the same.
Winston is our spit-fire. Our stubborn one. Our fearless one. Our wild man, through and through. And yet, at the same time, he is incredibly tender with babies, loves to snuggle while watching his beloved Bubble Guppies, and have a serious attachment to his blankies and paci:)
Winston has taught me so much as a mama. He has taught me to relax a little on things I used to love to control. He has taught me that its ok to slow down a little. That its possible to love two tiny human beings so differently and yet equally.
He gave me something that I never thought I would have- a BLUE eyed baby! That sure threw us for a loop, since only one person on either side of our families has blue eyes!
Here are some things that Winston is loving at two years of life:
-Bubble freaking Guppies. He will not sit still for anything on TV, but man- if you turn on some Bubble Guppies, homeboy is glued to the TV.
-Food. He is more picky than Bray {but then again, Bray will literally eat anything you ask him too- so I think everyone is more picky than Bray lol}. If he could choose, he would eat Ice Cream, fruit, cheese, yogurt, and basically anything unhealthy- all day long.
-Any toy that he can push around. Specifically this Melissa and Doug shopping cart he got for Christmas. He loves this dang thing! He also is in love with his new car he got for his Birthday. Both him and Bray run outside first thing in the mornings to play in this thing!
-Being outside. Exploring, playing on his swingset, running around, playing in water, ANYTHING- as long as its outside.
-Being around a lot of people! He always wants to stay whenever I am dropping Bray off anywhere- VBS, preschool, you name it. He wants to be a big kid and stay and play!
-Not staying in one place for more than a few minutes;) This kid wants to go,go,go!
-Babies. He freaking loves babies! Doesn’t matter if he knows who the baby is, he just loves it and wants to be around it.
-His dada! He gets SO excited when his dada gets home everyday.
He is going to be the sweetest {and craziest!} big brother! I am a little terrified at the thought of him smothering the baby with his hugs and kisses;)
Winston Kennedy,
You are our wild and crazy sweetheart. I am so excited to watch you grow over this next year- especially because this will be when your language will explode. You are already such an incredible little boy, and I know you are only going to get more and more so! Thank you for loving your dada and I, even when we make mistakes daily. I hope and pray that you grow to know the Lord with all your heart, to love Him, to love others, and to be kind to yourself. You are such a light in our lives.

Time flies! I can’t believe it is two years already. And, he has a whole mouth full of teeth! When does he get his necklace off? Can you explain that again? Where are the flipping Friday posts? Those are my favorite posts on the entire inter web. I took some of your tips when I staged my house in Connecticut. I noticed from your husband’s company’s website that monochromatic furniture was more pleasing. It helps show off the structure of the house. The photos that had one or two pops of the same color seemed jarring. Also the camera angles are important. Ann
