While we all love a beautiful Master suite, you never want to overlook the potential in a good bedroom and guest bathroom. This ranch home has 3 other bedrooms aside from the Master, and they are all done well {now}! Two of the rooms are an average size, and one of the rooms is huge. Like, Master bedroom size rival. I envision this home being amazing for a family. Parents in the Master suite {duh}, and then I think you could totally have two {or more even} kids share the biggest room, another kid gets the other room, and then one could either be used as an office, playroom, whatever. I think a lot of times people get stuck in the mindset that if it has a closet, that it has to be used as a typical bedroom- but thats so not the case!
Now that I went off track, I will get us back to some of the before and afters in this stunner! Here was the guest bath when we bought Slump Block:
Everything was functioning fine, but nothing was pleasing to the eye. Here is the beauty now:
We kept it similar to the Master bath in some aspects. We love the clean and classic look of subway tile wainscoting, and think it is so perfect for cleanliness in bathrooms! We also went with the always beautiful Marble counters. I love the mirrors we used in here. Maybe I have just been stuck in old and ugly bathrooms for too long, but I didn’t realize that a lot of mirrors now-a-days have the ability to tilt. So smart for the fact that a lot of people at different heights want to be seen:)
The bathroom has a crazy amount of storage. Not only do you have all the lower cabinets and drawers, but the tall cabinet to the side holds so much! Hopefully by having all of that, it will help everyone have the ability to keep counters clear and pretty! {at least that is my excuse as to why I always have messy bathroom counters- not enough storage;) }
We kept the shower area simple and bright with subway tile all around, and a tiled nook!
For the bedrooms, we stayed with the look of having all the doors be black. I cannot tell you how much I love the look of it throughout the whole home!! Even the closet doors are black:
Fresh new carpet, baseboards, and crown are in every room.
And the extra large room I was telling you about? Well that one also has fun french doors out to the backyard. I told ya it was an awesome room!
