Have you guys taken the time to check out the Threshold line while shopping at Target {for the 3rd time that week?!}? I have always eyed the line, but never bit the bullet on any items. I am cheap. Period. I would rather try and find something similar at a thrift store, or better yet, make it. But when the glorious store of Target decides to put awesome pieces on clearance, I am all in!
With our house still being 1/2 live-able 1/2 construction, we still don’t have any decor out yet. That doesn’t mean I am not constantly thinking about what will go where, or items to add in. When I found these pieces yesterday I knew exactly where they would go!
The door stopper will be perfect for the laundry room door that is spring loaded. We leave the laundry room door open sometimes because thats what connects us to my parents side of the house. Bray is finally at the age where he is well aware of where grandma and grandpa are, so hes always banging on the door to go see them:)
The brass cage candle holders? Oh I love them! They will take residency on the card catalog once its moved back in the house. We got two large and two small because I couldn’t make up my mind in the store while simultaneously trying to feed Bray a million and one snacks, and talk to J on the phone. Great multi-tasker, I am not. We will most likely return the two we wont need, unless I can find some other place for these dreamy cages.
The frames and the tassel are just great staples for decor. I would’ve never bought them at full price, but at these prices… for sure!

You can get those anywhere, including garage sales for $.25 to $2.00. You deserve a little treat for living through construction. Imagine how the brass things will look outside at night! Ann
