Dream Book Design

A New Project- And Advice Needed

We have been working on a project over here for about a month, and I am SO excited to start showing you guys all that we have been doing! We have been in our home for three years and have always said that we were going to get around to doing the boys Playroom..and we finally are!!

The room is pretty big with a funny twist to it, so it made choosing out rugs a little interesting. Basically we are going to need two rugs, both 5×8, for two spots in the room. We aren’t strangers to that, since we did something similar in Brays room, but we cannot decide which one we love the most.

Geo Loop Jute Rug

We are both kinda leaning towards the Steven Allen one because while it still is appealing design wise, it also is kind of playful! We so want this Playroom to be designed well, but more than that we want it to be a space for them. To spark their imaginations, to run wild in, to be BOYS!

Would love your feedback and input. What one do you like best, and WHY!? Thanks sweet friends!

I love the heirloom wool rug, it will continue to work as the boys get older.

I like the blue striped one because it’s playful, but I also like the jute one – it would be easy to clean and could work in another room down the road!

Oh Dacia, you are funny to think that rugs last that long in our home. LOL between the kids and dog we rarely get more than 4 yaers out of a rug:) But good point! Love ya

All the rugs are lovely, but I’m leaning towards the Steve Allen for a playroom. I love the pop of color.

I would pick the one that will be the most comfy to roll around and crawl around on!

I love the Heirloom Wool Rug, but since it IS a playroom I think the Steve Allen Striped One works better and is more playful. Good luck with the room, can’t wait to see it.

I like the Intarsia wool rug best. In my opinion, it matches perfectly the interior.

My favorite is the Intarsia wool rug. But then since it’s going in the playroom, I understand the playfulness of the striped rug and the pop of color. The jute one look like a shag rug, which might be more comfortable on their little knees! Whatever you pick, it will look great!
