I told y’all that J had off this past week from work, and boy was it productive. We got about 85 percent of the built-ins finished! We also got new lights installed {more to come on that later}, and a million other little projects are now done. I am so happy with how our new lights have turned out! It still feels like only yesterday that we were researching local electricians on websites like aardvark-electric.com/areas-we-serve/johns-creek/ and now all of our electrical work is slowly starting to come together. I have always said that some things are best left to the experts, and so whenever we need any electrical work carrying out in our house, I always reach out to an electrician! Anyway, what I am trying to say is that it is amazing how much can get done in such a short amount of time. That hubby of mine, he is one in a million. Never have I met a man who works so hard, and all the time. He would wake up at 7am and still be working when I made him stop at 9pm. Ca-razy he is! Anyway, we will have about a thousand tutorials coming up for all the details of the built-ins, but I’ll give you a few sneak peeks for now, our starting point, and a few days in:
Heres To One Great Week
Have you ever wanted to eat up a suspender clad baby more?! I sure haven’t! Be sure to check back tomorrow- I finally finished the tutorial for our door trim. I’m slightly obsessed with it, and hope that the tutorial makes it easy for you guys to follow it yourself if you want.
PS- no judging me on my dorky Vail hat. Its the only baseball cap I own that doesn’t say ASU, and I was not in an alumni mood that day;) I do however love hats of all sorts, so if any of you have a great resource for fun baseball caps, sun hats, whatever- let me know in the comments! Help a sista out!

Amazing!! That is looking SO good. Your husband is very impressive. And Happy Birthday! You all look so beautiful and so happy!
Oh…..quick question — did you already reveal where you got that amazing ceiling fan?? You may have and I just missed it. If not, can you please tell me? I am in the market and that thing is WAY better than anything I have seen!! 🙂
adrianne lentine says
Lisa- I knew someone had asked, but couldnt remember who it was, or if it was from the blog or Instagram! So glad you asked again. The fan is from Lowes, believe it or not. Not special order or anything. We were SHOCKED when we found it, because normally we hate all the options! We got it back in Jan/Feb, so not sure if they still stock it or not. Good luck:)

I can’t decide if I’m more jealous of your builtins or your oblique ab lines!! But I do know that I want the secrets for both!
adrianne lentine says
Oh girl you are crazy. Thank you! We will have all the tutorials for the builtins once they are finished. As for the abs…lol- they are not great- i promise. But I do enjoy working out 3x a week, and eating pretty clean {minus my freaking sweet tooth- it kills me!}
