Kitchen Makeover: Uhaul Saves The Day

Im going to let you all in on a little secret. Ready? When you remodel a kitchen- you end up with a HUGE pile of trash. Not like the size J thought it would be {he thought a 8×10 tarp could handle it all. Ha. Haha. Riiiggghhhtt}. These are just little shots to give y’all a taste of what our backyard has looked like for the past month. Woah- I said it. This has been going on for {over} a month now. 7-10 day project my butt.

Our GC said he would have it under control for getting all this crap gone. Guess what he used.. a U-Haul. A FULL SIZED U-Haul. I laughed so hard when I saw that bad boy pull up.

O marks the spot of the guys getting the trash gone. All i’m going to say is that, well, it took awhile. It made me so stinking happy when all that trash was taken away. I kinda feel like we have our back yard back minus the 10 gallons of paint, table saw, tool boxes, ya, we totally have it back;)
Another positive thing happened this week. We got a second sink sent to us.. but thats a whole other story- so for now..this is Honey welcoming it to the Lentine house:
All in all, its been a great week. Lots of progress made, and even more is being made today. I painted 5,000 baseboards last night while J was at school. I think the couple glasses of wine helped. Or not, considering I used the entirely wrong paint for the first coat. OOPS! I am very very glad though that our kitchen has made some serious strides from this photo:
Love you all! Have a great weekend.
<3,
Adri

Wow, that is a big project. I bet your arms were so sore from painting.

These things do take time. Which is why patience is the most important tool in the toolbox. Best of luck!
