Yesterday I faced my serious fears of going on live TV, and it ended up being really fun…once it was over! Man, the adrenaline I had pumping was crazy. And the worst part was that I was the last segment to go on. The show runs from 9-10am, and I was on at 9:52. Talk about torture sitting there waiting to see if I was going to make a fool of myself or not. The hosts of the show really were so awesome though at making me feel comfortable, and helped the conversation go as smoothly as possible.
In case y’all want to see me {internally freaking out} in the segment, here you go:
Adrianne Lentine shows how to make a fun fall banner
Thank you all so much for showing your support and being so encouraging with this whole thing. It has meant the world to me. Especially when the first comment I received on the ABC site was a guy telling me that the next time I go on TV I need to think ahead and comb or brush my hair…gotta love people!
All three of us love you {even mean hair guy!}

Congratulations on your TV debut! How awesome!! The banner is really cute. I need to make one this year…now that I know how easy it is. 🙂 Ignore any negative comments and enjoy this moment!! Your family pic is too cute by the way.
Thanks Tara! Make it- its too easy not to:)
Oh my goodness you did such a great job! I love the banner and you looked beautiful, including your hair…………people are so weird and mean on the internet sometimes!
Lol- yes they are! Im trying to just ignore it:)
SO nice to see you and HEAR you! You did absolutely wonderful, you seemed very relaxed and confident. Well done.
Louise
I was excited to post this, because I honestly hate when I cant put a voice to someone, so I thought it would be great for you guys! Glad you liked it:)
Awesome job Adrianne! You were a pro, you made it look easy breezy. Negative comment dude looks like he could use a comb himself and whatever rhymes with ‘shmildo’ is what I thought when i read the comment. who takes the time to leave such a comment!?
You freaking kill me! I like the rhyming:):) Thanks for always encouraging me friend!
Congratulations; you did great!! Love the fall banner. I need to make one for my mantle…. and your hair looked GREAT; totally stylish.
Thanks susan! Make it for sure!
Good job! I love your blog and all that you do! I am going to be renting a space to sell my painted furniture and crafty items and you always inspire me! Thank you!
BTW: You have a beautiful family!!
Julia
julia, thanks so much! Good luck to you on selling- im sure you will do great!
So great! You’d never know it was your first time on TV. You sound different than I imagined you would!
Lauren,
in a good way or bad?! lol. Thanks friend!
Good way! Haha.
I think you should respond to mean guy’s comment and tell him that if he’s going to offer “advice”, he should learn some grammar first.
haha I so agree!!!
Hey “ThomasGutzke”, jealous much!?! Oh, and that profile picture… that’s not you. You’re bald.
Adrianne – you were AMAZING on camera! So natural, like you’d been doing public speaking for years and years. Not working-the-counter at Krispy Kream public speaking – real-deal public speaking!! (haha)
So fully impressed with your skills, your ability to communicate, your presence on-camera, and mostly who you are as a person. SO impressed with you!
Hey Adri:
I just watched and I was a little concerned about your voice too. It’s silly but I remember the first time I heard Martha Stewart talk and I was shocked, so deep and husky. It is perfect, modulated and calm. And, I know you lost about a pound that day. Public speaking, is my all time worst (best) fear.
Best, Vanessa
